The Road to Socialism

Members of the Communist Party USA are dedicated to helping advance the day-to-day struggles of the working class on the road to a socialist USA. 


Socialism will provide mechanisms to work together cooperatively to extend political democracy into substantive democracy in all spheres of social life including the economy.

We Believe

The struggles for the immediate demands and reforms needed by working people in Ohio today are essential steps toward our ultimate goals of the revolutionary transformation of society and the economy, toward socialism and then communism.

Who We Are

The Communist Party is made up of grassroots community, labor and student activists, young and old, immigrant and native-born. We live in the cities and rural communities spread across Ohio.

The Future

The co-founder of the Communist Party USA, Cleveland native Charles Ruthenberg, once said, "in the United States as elsewhere in the world the future belongs to communism.”
